Water & Light (2002-03) is a series of short videos, originally created for Vermont Public Television (though they never actually aired), which aestheticize the play of water. The videos are all unedited documents recorded at various times at Shaftsbury Lake in Shaftsbury, VT. The audio and video components are then, respectively, subjected to processing according to a predetermined set of automated events designed to complement or enhance the pre-existing characteristics of the original field recording.
